BOULDER DAILY CAMERA: Boulder-based Boomtown Accelerators graduates latest cohort of innovators

Boomtown Accelerators graduated its 12th cohort Friday.

The class comprises eight companies offering new solutions in a variety of fields including health care, marketing, and energy, among others.

Boomtown CEO Toby Krout, in a news release emphasized the experience and expertise of this cohort.

“These founders are a very impressive group and include alumni from Harvard and the Naval Academy, as well as five MBAs, three Ph.D.s, and one MD — not to mention their advanced degrees in physics, engineering, marketing, and business intelligence. We are excited to see where they go from here,” he stated.

Five of the eight companies are generating revenue, said Kerri Beers, Boomtown marketing director. “All  eight companies are currently fundraising and two of them are close to closing their rounds based on investor interest. We work hard to help teams build relationships with investors and build out their network while they tackle the fundraising process,” she said.

The eight companies are:

Cloud Campaign, a digital platform that helps marketing agencies scale social media management. Streamlined workflows and built-in automation allow marketing agencies to increase the number of brands they manage with leaner teams.
